At Last!

I planted morning glory seeds last year and nothing ever came up. On Sept 1 of this year we finally have a bloom. That one went away and this one came up yesterday. I hope they are "perennials" and come back in full force next year. I planted the seeds in full sun, at the base of our side deck so the vine would go up the column.

Something Fishy

I had a wonderful time making this tote for my quilting rulers and rotary cutting mat. They are awkward to carry to classes and quilting at Church so I'll be glad to have this. The best part is that I used fabric I already had in my stash and didn't have to buy a thing! I had a wonderful time quilting around the fishys with my new Bernina Stitch Regulator. It was good practice too.

More quilting

This picture is a little fuzzy, but it shows the new 1930's quilt and matching pillowcase I just finished and the redwork pillow I made for my son's girlfriend Stacy.

Some Improvements to Hague Prison

After so many years, this is finally becoming a "real house". This year we put up some window treatments, solar shades in front and shelves for "stuff" over all the front windows. I'll try to get some pictures up here but having a little trouble today.
