Here's a shawl I made for Gina. I needed to make it a little longer so I just crocheted a simple edging and happily it came out nice.
I'm knitting an heirloom baby blanket. This is the center of it blocking. I might have to redo it, but "I'll worry about that tomorrow". It is a beautiful pattern and not difficult once it gets going, but I'm afraid the hard part will be adding the inner and outer borders. They get sewn on. The outer border will be easy enough, it is a "pleated" look and is just eased in around the corners. The inner "blackberry stitch" border must fit exactly as the corners are formed as you knit. Aaack! It's ok, I must have patience and perserverance.
On Ravelry I saw a thread asking what do you use for a knitting bag. I gathered most of mine up for a picture - I know there are a few missing, but we won't talk about them. I love bags, and I love to MAKE bags. Oh, so I guess that is why I have so many WIPs. This way I can put a WIP in each bag! --- or do I have so many bags because I have so many WIPs? (The chicken or the egg?)
